Another good workout on Saturday as 15 large bags of ivy and assorted weeds were cleared from the flint wall at the Eynsford Road end of Beesfield Lane and Cinder Path, the footpath that connects the High Street with Oliver Crescent. It was hot work, but we certainly made a difference in both areas. There is still more to do, however, and we will look at finishing both tasks at our next meeting on Wednesday, 12th August.
We will get together at 10am at the Village Hall and decide who wants to do what. Illness affected our attendance on Saturday and hopefully those who could not make it are on the mend. Many thanks to those who were able to make it and thanks to Carol for mustering the troops!
The team had time for a chat with Barbara, who came to say thank you for their hard work!
