Friends of Farningham 2023 Update

Friends of Farningham, the bi-monthly village clean-up group, are dusting off their gardening gloves ahead of the first meeting on Saturday, 1st April. Thereafter we will meet on the third Wednesday and first Saturday of the month until September (see dates below).

Friends of Farningham tidy up and improve various areas of our village such as the historic bridge and riverside path, the sanctuary which is Irving’s Corner and the garden and grounds of the Village Hall. We also litter pick and try to keep our footpaths clear of vegetation. If residents have a project we could undertake, please let us know.

We meet at 10am at the Village Hall where Hi-Vis jackets are provided. Strong shoes and gloves are necessary, as well as any personal garden tools. Brooms are also useful.
