Proclamation of the Accession of King Charles III

Following the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the Proclamation of the Accession of King Charles III will be made in Market Meadow by the Chairman of Farningham Parish Council at 5pm on Sunday 11th September.
This is a historic tradition dating back centuries and follows a cascade process where the Proclamation is made in London and then in each County, then Borough or District and finally in Towns and Parishes.
The Parish Council welcomes all who would like to join us for this event which will last around 10 minutes.
